CLASS B BOYS
“We went back and forth all afternoon with Camden,” Nasiatka said. “There were no huge numbers, conditions were tough and guys were up and down. Ryan Aylesworth and Joey Esposito were the most consistent, but every shot was a grind.”
Aylesworth finished with a 1,250 six-game total for a 208.33 average. He posted games of 151-200-256 in the morning and 237-184-222 in the afternoon.

Camden took the fifth game 834-812 but the Trojans still had a 4,566-4,549 edge. With the title on the line heading in to 10th frame of the sixth game, Homer trailed and needed a big finish. Aylesworth, Esposito, Storm Grant, Brandon Aylesworth and Brandon Grant all got strikes in the 10th. counting their remaining two throws in the 10th, the Trojans added six more strikes to seal the victory.
“We needed a huge 10th frame to post a number and hope Camden couldn’t catch us,” Nasiatka said. “What a time to have your best frame of the 60 on the day. I couldn’t be prouder.
“We are only a four-year old program,” he continued. “We have to thank the school board and the district for even considering a new program in this day and age. Right now Kory Platt, Larry Ray and Richard Gunn need to be thanked for getting this whole thing started and going to the school board with this idea. The commitment by the players and the parents is unbelievable. It was an exhausting day.”
Storm Grant (1,040) finished 14th, Brandon Aylesworth (1,021) 17th and Brandon Grant (1,004) 18th.
