The Gutchess Lumber Bantam youth hockey team won a pair of games over the weekend, 5-2 over visiting Fulton on Saturday and 2-0 at Camillus on Sunday.
Adam Jubran led the way against Fulton with two goals and an assist while Josh Cargen and Trevor Jubran had a goal and an assist apiece and Sammy Robbins one goal. Goalie Brandon Ludwig made 20 saves.
Ludwig stopped 17 more shots in earning the shutout against Camillus while Cargen and Nate Evans each scored once.
SQUIRT
The Little Ceasar’s/H&H Financial Group team also won twice over the weekend, 5-4 against visiting Oswego on Saturday and 3-1 against the host Utica Junior Comets on Sunday.
Andrew Partigianoni scored four goals and and also had an assist against Oswego, Ben McGrath with a goal and two assists and goalie Garret Clark with 12 saves.
Clark recorded the Sunday shutout with 17 saves while McGrath, Braden Marsh and Hunter Everle each scored a goal.
PEE WEE
The Computing Center squad lost to host Onondaga 6-3 on Saturday, Dakota Ayer, Dillon Skinner and Abigail Villnave with a goal apiece and goalie Riley Delage with 29 saves.
MITE
The Meldrim’s Paint Center/Jazzercize Blue team won two of its three games in the Midstate Mini-Jam in Cicero on Saturday, the games played with no goalies.
Jeb Dolbec, Cameron Fox, Lucas Friedman, James McCray, James Morse, Anderson Read and Finn Thomas scored ion a 19-7 win over New Hartford.
After a 9-0 loss to Midstate, Friedman, McCray, Read, Thomas, Michael Green and Shelbee McCrory scored in an 8-6 win over Rome.
On Sunday, Fox, Friedman, Green, Morse and Read scored in an 8-6 loss to visiting Whitestown.
The Darl Zehr Photography/O’Connor & Kruman/ Pontillo’s Pizzeria & restaurant White team beat visiting Whitestown 12-3 on Sunday. The goal-scorers were Brendan Andrews, Delaney Ayer, Ayer Coffin, Naris Constantino and Liam O’Connor, while goalie Gabe O’Connor made 14 saves.
