Mills, Bowman earn all-conference berths

DRYDEN — The TC3 basketball programs are represented on both the men’s and women’s Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference teams for the recently-completed season.
Sophomore Rob Mills was named to the men’s all-MSAC team, while classmate Jenna Bowman was selected to the women’s squad. Each all-star team consists of 10 players as chosen by the coaches of the seven colleges in the conference.
Mills, a Sports Management major, led TC3 in scoring, averaging 19.3 points per conference game. He was the third-highest scorer in the conference and the fifth best in terms of steals per game (2.1). He led the MSAC in free throw shooting percentage (88.1) and was fourth in 3-point shooting percentage (42.7). He finished his career with more than 700 points, passing that milestone in TC3’s season finale.
This marks the eighth straight year that the Panthers have been represented on the all-conference men’s team.
Bowman, who majors in business administration, is the 11th Panther women’s basketball player ever named all-MSAC, and the first since 2013.
She led TC3 in scoring, averaging 11.3 points per conference game. She topped 20 points in a game four times, including a 31-point performance in the season finale that ties for the second-most points ever scored in a game by a TC3 women’s basketball player.
n that game she reached 500 career points, putting her in a very exclusive club.
With her 500th career point, she became just the second player in TC3 women’s basketball history to finish her career with at least 500 points, 200 rebounds, 100 assists, and 100 steals.
