CLARKE — Roberta E. Clarke, 87, of Locke, New York, died March 19, 2015. At Roberta’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A graveside service will be held in Groton Rural Cemetery at a later date.
RECKENTINE — Jack D. Reckentine, 84, of Syracuse, New York, died March 22, 2015, at Crown Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cortland. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday in Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the town of Onondaga. Wright-Beard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

BROOKS — Helen D. Brooks, 90, of Rochester, N.Y., died March 19, 2015, in Rochester. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 3 at The First Unitarian Church, 220 S. Winton Road in Rochester. Interment will be in the spring at the Pearl Creek Cemetery in Wyoming, N.Y.
HALLOCK — Doreen Mary Heitman Hallock, 90, formerly of Hudson Street, Homer, N.Y., died March 23, 2015, at Cortland Park Nursing Center. A calling hour will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday with a funeral to begin 2 p.m. at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Spring burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery.
MARGISON — Richard L. Margison of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and formerly of Cortland, died March, 20, 2015. The family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. April 24 at the United Presbyterian Church, Cortland, with a celebration of life service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Cortland Rural Cemetery.

CANALE — Richard P. Canale, 85, of Cortland, New York, died March 22, 2015, at Cortland Regional Medical Center. Services and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cortland, will be private and at the convenience of his family.
DESMOND — Edwin Fairfield Desmond, 35, of New Bern, North Carolina, died March 22, 2015, at home. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cotten Funeral Home in New Bern, North Carolina.
DWYER — Ruth J. Dwyer, 89, died at Fulton Manor of Holland Homes, Grand Rapids, Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church, Cortland. The service will be followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery and then a luncheon at St. Mary’s Church.
RANGE — Irene Range 87, of Cortland, New York, died March 22, 2015, in Cortland Park Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Calling hours will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Spring interment will be held in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
SHARP — Martin (Marty) Sharp, 62, of Homer, New York, died March 16, 2015, in Port Orange, Florida. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Homer Elks Lodge, 82 Cortland St., Homer.
STROUGH — Carlton “Farmer” W. Strough, 89, formerly of Freetown, New York, died March 20, 2015, at the Cortland Park Rehab and Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus. A calling hour will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home before the service. Burial will be in Marathon Cemetery at a later date.
