COATES — Alice M. Coates, 85, of Redwood Avenue, Cortland, N.Y., died April 29, 2015, in the Groton Community Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 N. Main St., Homer. Interment will follow in Cold Brook Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday.
DOWNES — “Fritz” Gladys Downes, of Cortland, N.Y., died April 28, 2015, in Syracuse. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Homer American Legion.
FREDENBURG — Betty Jean Fredenburg died April 29, 2015. BEARD — Dorothy June Harper Beard, formerly of Cortland and Homer, N.Y., died. Calling hours will be held at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Florida on Saturday with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be in the Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville, Ohio.
DeMOND — Dorothy S. DeMond, 74, of Cincinnatus, N.Y., died April 19, 2015. Graveside services will be held Saturday in Wasilla, Alaska. Arrangements are being handled by Wasilla Heritage Memorial Chapel.
WOODRUFF — Laura Lee Gokey Woodruff, 65, formerly of Cortland, N.Y., died Feb. 6, 2015, at her home in Paradise, Texas.
